As our return to Northrend is imminent, on the new enlarged and revamped continent the Scourge awaits for us. We have official book information that not only confirms they are still running their facilities and creating new undead all the time but that they also still control a significant amount of territory with local warlords vying for power all the time.

However one warlord, the dreadlord warlord, the one that created them in the first place is going to come in as the titans are coming and he is going to mobilize all of his pawns, the legion, the scourge and the light. The old undead army is still powerful and completely aimless but not for long.

  1. There must always be, a Lich King (unless danuser decided to turn the crown into a Burger King one). It was the coolest item in the game, and was just destroyed and spat on. I'm glad that danuser is gone at least, but the damage is done.

  2. I'm all for it, I know it's the same enemy again but maybe you could forget about Shadowlands and act like it was just a what if scenario.
The only problem I have is that Arthas was just a death knight combined with an unknown plague that made him unstoppable.
But there are now a number of Death Knights and also the Death Arbiter who control the Necromancy.
Experienced paladins and ancient artifact weapons.
The forsaken have remedies against plagues.
The people are prepared, the Army of Light has new equipment.
As much as I celebrate the Scourge, it will be difficult to make it logically threatening again.

  3. I think your overlooking the separation in devotion between the Dreadlords, I mean, given the powers they have been exposed to, we have seen that Dreadlords are capable of changing sides, especially considering the Dreadlords that fought for illadin, for Sylvannas, I think that the Dreadlords no longer have a union, which is why so few of them came back to denathrius

  4. Scourge was Even weak during SL pre patch and they have become much after they Lost then and continued civil war.

Legion without sargeras, eredar lords, their base in Argus which instant revived demons and ofc their felworks with kin'garoth pushing infinite demonic machines. Makes legion pretty much powerless when sargeras was alone was stronger than The entire thing at its Peak.

Also denathrius Lost to us when he was as powerful as he has being and we not having help against him placing denathrius weakeest boss for a long time and Even losing to some dungeon boss powerwise.😊

  5. I mean, of course "the plague facilities are still pumping out fresh undead to this date" The warcraft universe only has like 4 villains in their storytelling that they keep cycling through (the other faction, the void, the burning legion and the undead) What are they going to do if one of those stops existing???? write a new original one??? lol it's blizzard were talking about.

  6. I would love to see HD Versions of the Scourge from Maldraxxus Monsters, and the HD Versions of the Nerubians in Northrend for a Wrath of the Lich King Remake at some point in the future. Classic Wrath could had been that.

  7. i dont think the horde lost or never conquered eastern kingdoms because they came from their own homeworld into azzeroth, without nothing besides their own self armour and weapons… and yet the orcs manage to survive all these years in a world that is conquered by all other races! now lets invert the lore. if humans came into Draenor you think the humans would had survived the wild forests and the orcs clans? ofc not humans always were weak by them selves! humans always rely on alliances with other races! Orcs never did that besides join forces with Ogres. Doomhammer was the reason that even goblins join the horde in first place. Orc clans would never fall vs the humans in Draenor! humans would die of starving ,survival or even in combat!

  8. Having undead as a constant threat in a world with necromancy just seems like a no brainer – it’s my sincere hope that someday, someone decides to fix the SL and the lore that went with it

Eg. We find out that everything we thought we knew about the SL was all fake it was a puppet simulation realm all dreamt up by Sire Denathrius and we’ve never actually seen the real SL

  9. By watching this video you get how Shadowlands/BFA screwed the established lore.

I hope we never hear of Denathrius and that the Dreadlords don't have any relevant role for a while.

However, the Dreadlords still being classified as demons, they regenerate in the twisting nether, and without argus, it will take much longer for them to regenerate.

😀 Bukvalno – Priest Trailer ( hey, hey, I wanna change my talents) – okey, 50g, okey, I wanna change my class, okey, DONE! 😀

  11. The Dreadlords did not create the Burning Legion, that hasn't been the lore for ages & ages. They joined the Burning Legion after the Eredar & were 'recruited' by (infiltrated through) Kil'Jaeden. SL lore didn't change that.
