  1. I feel this video is made before the last update to the classes. Most of them are not that overpowered anymore, especially arcane and fire mage, frost is now the king according to icyveins. Also affliction lock has a much bigger dmg output then demo and destro after the patch.

  2. So once again mage is the favorite child. As a bm hunter I'm disappointed that it's still boring af with boring af hero talents and they still won't allow us to spec any pet how we want 😑

  3. The only thing I truly hate is removal of permanent pet for frost mage. Always loved my Water Elemental. I was actually hoping they will at some point add also fire elemental for fire mages and some arcane elemental. It feels for me like when they replaced druid's permanent healing form treant look with that rotten broccoli and even then was not permanently in that form. That literally made me stop playing druid healer. Not sure today, but have seen it is still by default rotten broccoli. Maybe there is something to do, but I have lost interest.

  4. I don’t think Aff is right. It’s performing quite well. The patch has seen a lot of it bugged so the damage is lower due to a few spells not working properly but overall, it’s a lot better (damage wise) than it was. Just a shame about Malefic Rapture still being here…

  5. A lot of the Devastation negatives got fixed/tweaked in between filming and releasing this video – namely they've seemingly improved the Dragonrage extensions. Firestorm is still forever a clusterfuck, and Devokers still have the "issue" of likely living in the shadow of Augvokers (at least until Blizzard add more support specs xD)

  6. Affliction warlock is a big loser – the move towards doubling down on the infamous Malefic Rapture, even upping the shard generation chances for spamming the ability more also not only moves damage further away from DoTs towards this disliked spender, but also ups the impact rng has on your output – and I'm sure Affliction locks will tell you they already have enough rng as it is, both rotational and output. Even if you ignore gameplay and focus on the thematic side of things, the slow damage-over-time spec itself is now spamming a nuke spender is just off. These are bad changes, there's no two ways about it.

  7. Affliction needs so much help at least in prepatch, I always played it and kept actually competitive numbers, until prepatch hit then I’m so far behind other specs with way lower ilvl and playing the rotation quite properly

  8. One thing is for sure, they are going to rework a lot of the hero talents during the expansion, its a shame Blizz couldn't make all of them interesting and good from the get go.

  9. Destruction section felt way off you run rain of fire in single target to get shards for a talent that gives you mastery on shards spent even in a chaos bolt build it does less damage then incinerate its a worse spender then rapture from everything I’ve done on beta

  10. Hard disagree with MM Hunter.
Yea we got a rework… BUT! Non of the issues the rework has caused where adressed since. Dead silence for 8 weeks without any changes or responses. We can‘t get all AoE Talents because every Talent is an AOE talent. This leads to many dead Talents for example Rapidfire barrage and Killzone. To many talentpoints to unlock basic AoE wit trickshots. To many talentpoints for unlocking bais functioning of the spec so stady Shot giveing focus and Arcane shot cost reduction wich should be baseline. And so on. And Dark Ranger is so underwelming an creates unnecessary friction that makes me belive Blizz Just don’t care, becaus they have to take care of mages and there next rework.

  11. I would so much want demo warlock that is a hybrid of the current one and cata era. Summoning of multiple powerful demons but no imp circus. It just freaks me out. And old hand of Gul'Dan was so much more satisfying. As well as molten core procs for immolation

  12. I'll never use Ascendance or Deeply Rooted Elements as long as it uses that fucking horrible model. In fact, I haven't used it since they took away our Ascendance glyph 8+ years ago.
