The World of Warcraft: Dragonflight Announcement! – (My FULL Reaction and Thoughts)

World of Warcraft: Dragonflight is here AT LAST! Finally, Shadowlands is coming to an end, bringing to us a new adventure filled with dragons, updated professions, new talent trees, the Dracthyr playable race, the Evoker class, and of course, ridable dragons that are fully customizable! I think a lot of us have been waiting a LONG time for an expansion like this, grounded in the lore of Azeroth – no insane reality breaking nonsense, no fighting death, etc.

This video is Nixxiom’s FULL reaction to the Dragonflight announcement. Expect a video soon over on the main channel!

  1. Looks like shit to me, honestly. Much like Shadowlands, it doesn't look like Warcraft any more. Where Shadowlands looked more like Darksiders, this shiny new turd looks more like Guild Wars.

Nothing here that might tempt me to return to the game after getting into Final Fantasy.

  2. So, what did you all think of the announcements? ALSO, new video coming soon on the main channel, Nixxiom, where I talk about each announcement in a more structured, less live-reaction, sorta way. Coming soon!

  3. Looked incredibly low effort, even the new race is just a reskin with half a class attached, I wouldnt mind as much if the models didnt look so terrible. Pretty sure we get less with every expansion, we used to get 2 new races or a whole new class.
Are they announcing any other features the expansion has or was that everything?

  4. Honestly from what we have seen it looks pretty weak, not a huge fan of the new race but I am glad we are finally going to see the dragon isles in game. I hope the next expansion is in Tel’abim though so I can fight banana people

  5. Worst cinematic. No connection to anything. I didn't feel anything unlike the previous patches where a cinematic would make me pre-buy the thing 1 year early. Who is the enemy? Is it going to be some half-assed super powerful guy like Jailer that gets beaten super easily? Or even worse, NZoth… Some expendable villain that is just boring? The story is as good as the villain… Sargeras was a good one, also a crappy ending. They just don't know anymore how to write, the writers have no connection to the old lore.

  6. I really don't get the amount of bitching about this announcement. The story seems way more grounded, we have fantasy with dragons and stuff, it's in Azeroth, there's no bs borrowed power, professions are revamped, talent trees are back
We don't even have (currently at least) a big bad guy that wants to destroy the world or rewrite the fucking reality itself, just us helping the Aspects, which is what the community has been rightly complaining about in SL
And while yes the cinematic trailer might be the lamest compared to the others, it's also refreshing to have a more chill, toned down experience

  7. um no wow aint saved. give it another two more expansions and get things correct and let the memes and jokes die down about what happened in the inner workings of the company and then WoW will be slightly back. so probably around 2026 at farthest but then more games are gonna be out so idk

  8. Trying to see this differently. Lately we’ve gotten great cinematics but piss poor expansions. This cinematic was by far the least exciting but maybe, just maybe, the overall expansion will be good with all the changes mentioned.

  9. The talent tree alone is enough to get me excited, but revamping professions and "stealing" Guild Wars 2 mount system?

Only thing that will stop me from buying the expansion is if the expansion is grindy af. Waiting for beta testers to reveal stuff.

  10. I thought it look great. While I'll wait on buying until we get a lot more info, I'm more hype for this then I was FF14 6.1. It be good getting back to basics. Well as much as they can. I have questions, I like what I see.

  11. Honestly I'll be happy if I get a few good months out of it. new exp looks fun, new and different to what we know and If we can get more long-term enjoyment out of it then great.

  12. feels like we are missing a conflict, we aren't really given a reason in this revel why this area would be important more than that dragons hang out here? feel like the first time i have no idea what i'm meant to fight or really fight for. most people is tired of the over used big bad guy and so im i, we still need a conflict to fuel the adventure, i dont want a big cosmic bad threat or a big bad but we still need simple antagonistic force to face and i dont realy get anything like that from this. like it feels from this reveal that the hero is not really needed on this island. in mist the conflict is that horde and alliance are competing over the island but here we have nothing, the only thing they barely talked about are some form of lesser giants which by the way is once agine just wow taking dnd lore and slightly changing it. like come on giants vs dragons could not be less creative of an idea.
