  1. The part that starts at 6:00 has something, something I can't really explain, it's the soft flute melody behind the main theme, and just invokes a feeling of freedom and calm on me.

I have no idea what technique is it or what exactly makes me feel that way, but it's such a liberating, beautiful melody.

It just sounds like the freedom and the vastness of nature would sound.

  2. I still don’t like extremely primitive storytelling of current WoW, lore incoherency, on top of that the increased dosage of “progressive” propaganda or whatever you call it, admit in DF it broke all limits. But there was a few really good changes – especially revamp of professions, that was absolutely brilliant. And of course the music. Not a fan of scores in Waking Shores (they don’t belong to Warcraft universe) but Valdrakken is just genius and so immersive. Great job there.

  3. There are some WoW Soundtracks I just always love to listen. Wrath of the Lichking has some great soundtracks, MoP is just perfect, Daughter of the Sea is still one of my favourite vocal songs and now this. Normally I don't really "hear" a soundtrack anymore when I go to a certain area, becaue I have heard it so often and don't even realize anymore it's playing. This one is different. Everytime I enter valdrakken I'm thinking "Yep, I can stay here for a while just for the music."
