  1. I would guess that since it's marketed as "for the 20th Anniversary" they will probably make them available until January. That being said, might get the mage set and staff, but not sure on much else (because I was typing this Instead of watching the video)

  2. I wish they would just lower the price of everything. It's cosmetic, I see no valid reason to not either give us more tender for playing, or lower prices. Sets shouldn't be more than 200 tenders. And make the class sets available year round.

And, not that I want it, but I can see them doing the same as path of exile and just finally making tenders purchasable because money is the corpo rats favorite food.

  3. Enjoy your presentations. I’ve been out of the game for a while. Now getting back in. Question is unrelated to this video. But I watched your video on ELVui from several years ago. I have been thinking about using this add on but am uncertain. Have your thoughts changed about this add-on over the years? I am not a seasoned add on user.

  4. On top of the late announcement to save our tendies, they also did NOT communicate at all that the Ragged Patchwork set and claw would have a completely obtainable recolor for free from Headless Horseman event. Like what the actual fuck was the issue just letting us know the rewards at the same time as the other announcement? I got lucky in that I didn't spend for the claw, but I definitely got hosed on the 850 for the entire set that could have been spent on more anniversary mogs. Granted, the tender colored version is vastly superior IMO but given the choice between having two of the same thing and instead getting TWO MORE armor specific sets; I'd have chosen the latter.

They are absolutely going to need to allow us to get these through 1/31, or people are going to riot.

  5. 5:23 I'm not going to hold my breath for price adjustments but If I recall there are 4 color variants not including the extra sfx versions as well and you get 1 color variant and one sfx per 400. That's too much for any two weapon transmog, which means I got to pass on it again. There are just better items for my tender to be spent on as for example now that the class armor sets are now just armor class sets I think their priced just fine. I'm not just buying a set for my paladin but all my plate alts for 450. Sure I wont get them all in one go but they're now on my shopping list for the foreseeable future.

  6. 6:55 seems like a dick move to load the back end of the year with this much stuff on a single month. I know in RL this is just how sales go but that's to recoup any losses. Tenders don't work that way there is no loss, the items cycle and if I added up those correctly its 7,600 which on paper looks fine if you've saved for a few months, but I think Blizzard is purposely putting a mental squeeze on us to demand more ways to get Tender so they can throw up their hands later and say 'you asked for this' when they do some corporate shitty thing and make Tender 'less valuable' by allowing it to be bought by gold or cash and then raise prices to combat the 'inflation' of said Tender.

I can't prove it but I bet there is an annalist on the other end looking at our spending habits and reporting back to set prices for more stuff like that over priced hammer at 5:23, so that we head to the forums and demand more Tender each month. I'm not opposed to being able to get more Tender in game by doing activities, I just know there is a lot to balance even for a 'fun' single use currency like Tenders.
