Good change for alts but my main still sitting on 300 glided crests because I run out of valorstones everytime I do one little upgrade
This does not fix anything for 95% of the player base. It's good for those who are aiming that 1%
To Clarify a wipe with challengers peril is not just 1:30 min. I would take into account the run back + wasted dmg phase, if you wire at a boss and used lust on a tyrannical week you lost between 3-5min total time

alt gearing is still stupid. alts should earn double the amount of crests. i want to play multiple toons and i have a full time job. i cant run 400 dungeons a season for 4 toons im not you.

You should be able to warband transfer currency depending on what achievement you got Carved achievement, runed achievement, gilded achievement. This would be soo good for alts, and it would also naturally arrive in a healthy manner.
not nearly enough . i am not personally pushing m+ till they make it soloque based on your m+ rating , i just dont have time and will to sit in lfg que for 50 mins refreshing grps each evening for a chance to do a fking +10 >.< And all my friends were gone in first 2 weeks of m+ season , wonder why eh .
This is an ok change but also a nothing burger for people who don´t live in mythic track land.

While it's nice that there's changes coming for the +8 and higher players, there doesn't seem to be any tuning or adjustments made to help anyone else. I don't want the game to not have high end difficulties, there's a lot of players who want it and love it. Great! But why can't the game also have low tier stuff? Delves are great, but they are not M+, and vice versa.
If anyone can show numbers that indicate that a significant majority of players are +8 and higher players in skill, then I'll just quietly remain not playing M+ anymore, but I have a lot of difficulty believing that any kind of majority of the player base is in that range.
The "squish" of M0-10 killed M+ for me nearly entirely. There's no ramp to learn. There's no comfort zone for less skilled players to still enjoy M+.
There's only "you must be near perfect and memorize every single monster and their casts within every single pull of every single M+, or you will never advance." The game requires perfect memory and reaction time to play M+8 and up unless you're being carried, which simply doesn't happen anymore without paying for it. Again, I have no problems with that existing at the high ends, I thought that was what M+15 and up was for! Because players in that range want that play-style, that's literally why they're climbing. However, most of us just want to experience M+ a little, within the wiggle room tiers to play with friends. Why is that not allowed? Why are so many people against there even existing a range for casual players?
Honestly what was inherently wrong with the best of the community pushing M+20 and up, while a significant amount of players struggle-bussed wherever they landed between M0 and M+15 (I'd argue most didn't even make it M+10 without a carry, let alone legitimately pushing M+15 on their own merit/skill). Was it purely because Blizzard didn't want to put in the effort to plan gearing out for that range?
I'm sure I'm in the minority where I truly don't care if I have anywhere near the best gear, I've not had anything remotely qualifying as that since Wrath and yet I still very much have enjoyed playing with friends in M0 through M+8(ish) and a (very) rare Normal Raid when the kids, work, and life schedules allowed us enough time, up until this expansion at least.
Now the only thing we can do together is Delves and world quests, or if we have enough time, maybe try to piece together a Normal Raid, maybe give it the old college try up to an M+4 if we feel like sweating and dealing with increased anxiety and stress over the fear of missing a single interrupt or a single death causing players to leave and needing to start all over, or not getting invites because someone thinks that the meta matters at M+4.
It simply isn't fun to sweat so much and have so much anxiety over one of the lowest tiers of difficulty, and for what? Just because Blizzard doesn't want to put in the effort to figure out how to make gear distribution across a wider range?
Too little, too late. This is a placebo change. The major problems mentioned are still present and wont be resolved. No thank you to be given, its a failure of a change, they misses the mark and need to keep correcting, and you again give them cheers for doing a half baked job…
They've been doing this for years – introduce a time-consuming and stingy reward system. Then change it later when participation envitably drops to an unacceptably low level. Going round in circles.
I mean for trinkets I still need to be lucky in vault if I dont raid mythic no? I can craft algari stone 636 but its unique.

636 can be still impossible. what if you only have 1 trinket or 1 ring. it should not be both rings or both trinkets or both weapon slots. there should be only 1 slot enough with 636

Yea, nice to get more crests but this still feels like a band-aid. They need to fix much more before season 2. I haven't touched WoW since mid-October.
I already unsubbed because season is already over for me. I will see if S2 will gain major tank and heal changes. If not tww will be worse then Shadowlands for me

When are they going to have cool rewards like rankings, and transmogs, and mounts, and achievements for mythic plus. Thats when we win. Give us more reason to grind… challenge modes, titanforge gear chances… they are missing out on so much…

This is not enough and not the issue with Mythic. Who cares if they made the grind a little less….Mythic + feels horrible and no one wants to play it.
I am easily doninating dps in every group inam in but it takes forever go get groups to accept me even for key levels i have cleared or just 1 higher than current best. Spent an hour finding a grouo for a measly 6 stonevault only for the healer to log after 1 person died (we downed boss with him and a dps dead

What about valorstones? i dont have issues getting crests but valorstones.. especially since im not doing delves for the radiant echoes..
These are just bread crumb adjustments for the most part. Too little too late and doesn't fully address the core issues. Dungeons are too hard and have too much going on is the first issue. Second issue is the fact that tanking and healing is too hard and none of these changes are incentives to play any of those specs and the third thing is that they continue to do nothing to balance specs. The fact that there are META specs every season is just not good. Character balance HAS to be better. I've read about specs that have had bugs for years and nothing done about that. Just pure ass at this point. Overall the games state is bad and they can't seem to fix it.
A big change would be if instead of the 30% discount on crests, the discount would be 25% per character with the achievement on both crests and valorstones. So if 4 characters got the achievement for reaching 619 (or 636) in all slots the rest of your warband can upgrade their items up to 619 (or 639) for free.
