  1. I love how this theory offers a way they could potentially payoff the Harronir & Elun’ahir, the Kobyss & the underground sea in Hallowfall, AND the bottom of the Coreway & (presumably) the worldsoul, all in a single zone that would fit beneath all the current zones and reasonably connect to each of them.

  2. The Haranir are the original Druids that are ordered to watch over the roots of the first world tree! It is known in our world that if the roots survive the tree can be saved & regrow from them! I want them as a playable allied race for everyone!

  3. Now we can add furry trolls to the troll list. Joy. /s

On a more serious note, Blizzard really needs to stop adding new races constantly, especially ones as disappointing as this. I'm sure they'll find their fans, but I'd rather have playable naga, vrykul and ogres with vastly more customization added to already existing playable races too.

  4. I really hate Nu-wow lore going the route of: "Look this is the ACTUAL origins of the thing you love!" i.e scourge/nerubian asesthetics being from maldruxxus, the ORIGINAL druids aren't night elves or tauren taught by cenarius, no no no, it's actually the HARANIR something the new writers pulled out of their ass.

it's fine if they're also druids who learned the ways elsewhere, but to constantly go "SEE LOOK, THEY'RE IMPORTANT CUZ THEY WUZ THE ORIGINAL THING THAT YOU RECONGNIZE, SEE? WE KNOW YOUR I.P" like dude, come up with some fucking originailaty that doesn't need to fuck with the stuff that's already established. Add onto, not diminish. They literally are inacapable of doing that.

  5. 4:30 Hey, interesting connection there. Y'know how Trolls are (supposedly) the only naturally occurring sapient life on Azeroth? And as you bring up, they seem to really adapt to whatever energies they live around.

  6. I think that the Arubians are the progenitor race — They are the Quillboar, the Trolls, Haranir, and Elves
    1. Quillboar – Evolutions from consuming Corrupted Necromantic Blood (Blood Gems)
    2. Elves – Evolution from being in contact with the Well of Eternity (Blood of Azeroth?)
    3. Haranir – Evolution from being in contact with World Tree Blood (Sap) – Directly connected with the Emerald Dream
    4. Trolls – De-evolution of Haranir after being separated from "All Blood" and devolving over-time.

Basically this: Arubian > Haranir > Troll > Elves or Quillboar

  7. They are the next playable race to be premiered in a later patch. With Earthen now both factions have Dwarves, and to make it fair they give Trolls to both. And they will cover the classes Earthen don't have (minus DK, but that could happen later if the Ebon Blade shows up somewhere).
