  1. after shadowlands killed my interest in wow my dracthyr was very much the only reason i came back to the game and i love their addition to wow as a whole as it quickly became my favorite class and race, while i very much wish and hope that blizzard will make more transmog pieces compatible in later patches given my love of a good fashion challenge i think its a small price to pay to play as my lizzard

  2. I like the dracthyr. I am disappointed about the lack of armor, but i don't find anything wrong with the body structure. They have a decent amount of baked in armors from the customization menu, and with all the scale colors and different spike types, you can still make a decent array of transmogs. Though I have't been keeping up with my tabard collections, so that limits me a bit. They also have a really fun dance emote. I har bought one of those race change 3 packs like a year ago when the service was on sale and had one left over, so I swapped my warrior to dracthyr once it was available. A bulkier dragon would be better for it, but the wings help with the silhouette, and the warrior animations look intimidating enough as it is anyway.

  3. I just find that visage form is very lazy in its own right. Like dragons can turn into literally every race yet Dracthyr only turn into elves with horns. So when you get that quest from Wrathion that goes on about how this is really the truest expression of yourself, i feel that players should given a warning they need to temper their expectations of visage form and click to agree.

  4. As a Feral druid main, the lack of customisation and glamour items in Dracthyr form has never bothered me. They still got more customization than boomies whom got a revamp in their customization in Dragonflight. Ferals and Guardians are still stuck with pre-designed forms with 0 customization options, and none of our armor in our forms. XD

  5. I tried out a Dracthyr for the hell of it. Am actually okay with the lankier dragon/humanoid body shape, and named her 'Dragonthirst' for meme points. however, I simply can't seem to get into the class gameplay. The charge-up attacks, the 'swoop-over' attacks that require proper flight space to even use, and the weak-feeling standard blast attacks have led to a lackluster playing experience for me.

  6. I like them for their Human forms, the hair styles are bomb , plus horns. I don't think I have ever been in their Dracthyr form since i made them. LOL i also use the racials to avoid death by falling off cliff and blowing other people off cliffs

  7. I have such a strange preference for races in wow.

I like Trolls, Pandaren, Kul Tirans, Worgens and Drachthyr.

And I'm not even a furry or scaly. I just always liked beast races. Probably because I played too much Turok as a kid…

  8. I've been a drac evoker main pretty much since they were introduced, so you can imagine my opinion of em is pretty high. I love the evoker playstyle, I find their lore very interesting, and I quite like how they look, both in and out of visage.
Can confirm though, as an avid transmogger, I wish they had a lil more transmogging ability.
I also used to hate their weak watered down flying but it's a lot better now, still some issues though but they are negligible.

  9. I have a few Dracthyr, but mainly cause I was excited to try out the different Evoker specs. I can't say I've messed with Devastation or Augmentation too much (as I prefer healer), but I've had a lot of fun with Preservation! Particularly a Bronze Dragon build over a Green Dragon build. There's just something about being able to warp and dilate time that is always satisfying! Plus, Preservation was and continues to be refreshing (considering that the last healing spec Blizzard added before Preservation was Mistweaver over 10 years ago).

I will say though, I'm still highly disappointed that the Dracthyr are restricted to their weird half elf/human forms for visages. It would be easy for Blizzard to make it so you could choose whatever race you'd like (like the actual dragons), but I guess that's asking for too much. So, I guess I'll keep using the atomic recalibrator toy until that day comes.

  10. The greatest mistake Blizzard made with the Dracthyr was making it a race.

It should have only been a class that could be applied to any race (which dictates it's visage form) and replaces their racial abilities with those of the dracthyr.
