  1. Thats probably the reason why i soon quit wow retail after playing 20 years. I only play m+ but you are getting forced to play raids to get these 4, insane pve items (trinkets, back and ring in TWW) and to get good gear you would need to go hc or mythic and it is absolutly not pug friendly and i hate raiding. But if you dont do it, you are 20% weaker.. its so annoying af.. why not giving us the emblem in all seasons like in dragonflight s4. Im even fine to get 1 all 4 weeks to at least get these items

  2. Cata was tailored for guilds and tightknit friend groups. If you were playing with strangers you were rolling the dice even in heroic dungeons. It was also just kind of uninspired mechanically.

  3. IF they were smart, they would just integrate evrything before Cata into lvl 60 an make something like Guild Wars, where you don't progress upwards but horizontally, with new stuff to explore, but a casual is never forced to relearn the godamn game every patch.

  4. I quit back in March and abandoned my Level 60 Hunter after I realized there was no more to level for and I would just have to RAID forever to try to twink my character out. I have too much else to do with my life.

  5. When WoW was "classic" casually playing and being GOOD at casual playing was to be able to change over to your alt (with different class) just because your current group was like, "oh we still need XYZ class to do the raid" and you simply said, "OK, me!"

    Try that now…

  6. Come on asmon bring all the players back to classic wow. Get the devs more involved and stepping up their game!! Make an ever changing class experience with invasions and zones changing. New buildings, quests, monsters, raids etc

  7. No surprise to me that once Cata Classic dropped, so did the players, since that was the way it worked the first time around. The only reason there should ever be a WoW Classic is specifically to play Pre-Cata Wow. What were they even thinking?

  8. I think Season of Discovery is the best WoW has been in a looong time. I absolutely love it. I feel like the minority tho – seems like a lot of people have been unhappy with it.

  9. Everything you are talking about is Greek to me. I played Vanilla WoW and then Burning Crusades. I was in an accident and paralyzed for a decade and when I tried returning to WoW there were no people on the servers, so I left.
What has happened since Burning Crusades? What is "Classic WoW" vs "Retail WoW"? I get there have been other releases, but everything is confusing regarding what is what and how did the gameplay change?
I know Vanilla and Burning Crusades… apparently I've missed a lot.
Is Vanilla WoW what is called "Classic WoW" or "Retail WoW"?

  10. It's like Legion Raids in Lost Ark. Most casuals can do T3 guardian raids. But Legion raids are ultra gimmicky hit the right color orb nonsense. Now there isn't 2 colors but 5 different color orbs spinning around. Too much end game barriers will put people off.

  11. Biggest WoW problem has been its player-base. Most of them haven't played other online games since vanilla and are unable to see that Blizzard has literaly scammed them in so many ways years after years.
    That's almost stockholm syndrom.

  12. If you were super into classic then you should move to OSRS. I switched from OSRS after 10 years because it was just so unengaging and the skill max exp is way too high. They never make gear irrelevant and everything ties in with each other. However, after playing that for along time – I just like the quick seasonal side of retail and mythic+. I started in dragonflight and yeah there are some of us who really like retail the way it is now and never liked classic because it is somewhat similar to other extremely boring games I have played (OSRS)

  13. Getting good is so youngers answer to everything like this, we have allrdy done all that 12hours+ raid stuff back in da vanilia times, don't have time or don't care to do all that shit again but I would to like raid for time to time.

  14. Played WOW in like 2012 at 13 years old, got to level 6 Tauren Druid. Recently played the first phase of SOD and it was the most fun I ever had in a game, the dungeons, friends, guilds, and BFD were awesome. Second phase just sucked ass, SM was just a grind fest, then gnomer was people forcing me into a discord just to be a toxic ass leader. Wish I could go back and replay first phase it was awesome

  15. "Too hard" is the dumbest explaination ive ever fucking heard. No, its not too hard. The overwhelming majority of the players use to play classic.

Ah yes, i dont play wow because raid too hard.

  16. At 12:15 hes right thats what i loved about wotlk classics less spells so less stuff on the screen easier game play in pvp higher dmg and healing compared to players health-pools. But then cata- retail they lowered the dmg vs health-pools and added a bunch of more skills. Its one reason i hate retail you need like 45 keybinds, in classics and wotlk classics you only needed like 12-15 really.

Same fate happened to runescape, you have these top 1-3 percent of players demanding a casual game become harder, so you end up with these super strong boses with crazy mechanics that drop insane gear that effects the games economy. People may say just get good, but guess what this leads to players just real world trading and the econmy being effected even more. Then you got these streamers in runescape ruining core pvp mechanics and nerfing of items that was part of the rs2/oldschool runescape for 15+ years. What happened now pvp in osrs is basically dead.

Players said it takes to much effort to pvp and wealth and decided to not pvp. Go on osrs runescape in the wildnerss on any server its almost barren. These hardcore streamers demanding to have bounty hunter and pvp worlds, and divided the pvp community into different areas now pvp is basically dead. Companies still never learn from the past because this happened in runescape literally on rs2 15- years ago.
