And this again is the material Disney skipped over so they could "do their own thing." Or they could of…. oh whatever
Scared me shitless playing kashyk for the first time in Kotor as a kid in '03
Loved Jolee as a character too
His fucking comments didn't register at 12 but now they crack me up
This is definetley Star Wars' version of Fear and Hunger
After exploring Kashyyyk and getting jumpscared by those damn spiders in Fallen Order, i totally agree that this planet is a deathtrap! Wookiees are just built different.
Makes me think of The Heart of Darkness on Voss. Forbidden Nightmare Lands.
Great video! 4:12, no, not really, I usually bad the time of my life fighting them. Just have to parry most attacks, unlock special finisher and boom. For me, as long as there were 3-4 max, I could handle it. The Slyyyg were more annoying, especially in Battle Arena. REAAAAAAAALY WANT A SHOW ABOUT THE RAKATA!
I've been trying to find information about this part of kashyyyk that I saw when seeing a comic review. After a year or two, I finally found information.
You need to do a video on endor's forest floor.
Thank you for sharing about Kashyyyk
Imagine if there is a hostile and feral offshoot of the wookie living in the shadow lands who evolved from madclaws and are cannibalistic….I'll call them the shadowwooks
I remember in end of Season 6 of Star Wars The Clone Wars. Yoda was having a vision of a version of Dooku who never turned to the dark side. He mentioned Yoda once slew a tarantatek in Kashyyyk which heavily implied that Yoda actually explored the Shadowlands himself. Which in part, would explain his friendship with the Wookiees. He has even more in common with Jolee Bindo than I thought.
There are dark places in the galaxy… And Kashyyyk has some of the darkest, far darker than any tomb on Korriban or the hollowed husk of Malachor V…
It's like an Ocean, deep and impossibly dark, shrouded in mystery and superstition to its very and probably unexplored core.
4:54 It's like a Shark Cage being lowered into the ocean…
Imagine that one Katarn who forgot to turn off the machine and then being asked later on if they did or not 😂
9:09 Well they've failed… Or their project has gone horribly right.
10:09 The Heart of Darkness…
Thus why Jolee Bindi was IMO a top tier Jedi since he basically chose to live down there. 😎👍🏿
But the lizardmen had apperently no problem to enslave wookies despite the shadowlands?
I’m working on an alien world project mainly inspired by James Cameron’s Avatar. Now I realize Kashyyk is also perfect for inspiration!!!!! Mainly the giant trees
I'm excited to see how Bad Batch will show the Shadow Lands and the rest of Kashyyk
5:50 “in the word of Chewbacca…” before i hear anything else, all i can think of is “WUUAHAHHHAAAAA”
Didn't know about the machine….cool. Good video.
I loved this episode however you have given me the phantom itches lol
Ngl, when he said' "in the words of chewbacca ", I expected him to follow up with "RAWAAARRRWWGAAAHH UUGGHHRAAAWR" but with subtitles.
