World of Warcraft created by the developers at Blizzard Entertainment is a massive franchise full of incredible stories. Each and every zone you visit has a ton of history and smaller stories that you may miss out on if you don’t read quest text or really dig into the lore of the world. So today, let’s start a new adventure and talk about the Lore of Elwynn Forest! World of Warcraft (WoW) is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) released in 2004 by Blizzard Entertainment. Set in the Warcraft fantasy universe, World of Warcraft takes place within the world of Azeroth, approximately four years after the events of the previous game in the series, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. Since launch, World of Warcraft has had nine major expansion packs: The Burning Crusade (2007), Wrath of the Lich King (2008), Cataclysm (2010), Mists of Pandaria (2012), Warlords of Draenor (2014), Legion (2016), Battle for Azeroth (2018), Shadowlands (2020), and Dragonflight (2022).

Why do you call King Varian … king Varithan?
The elwynn forest music always gives me feels. So many memories!
I know how long it take to make these videos. But I wish every week keep uploading more. They enjoying to watch and alot of information about the places you cover and small things usually player ignore, but things show the detail work done. Keep up bro. Loved the video
Literally just copied from The Chronicles of Azeroth channel
I've always wanted a series going over the history and quests of each zone and this one was fantastic! I hope you keep this up!
always loved elwynn! You summed up perfectly everything about this zone that made it so engrossing as a new player. I always thought that elwynn was the most believable zone so to speak, like I could believe it exists in some other dimension because of how thoughtful the game devs where in creating it. Very clever level design + rich worldbuilding and beyond that simply a very beautiful zone.
Thanks for letting us all revisit this gem again, I honestly had forgotten most of the lore!
These A.I. voices are really annoying.
Because I have been getting a lot of comments and questions about this recently: Nothing in this video was AI generated. All of it was written and voiced by me, a regular old squishy, flesh and blood human being. AI is an excellent tool but should be used as such… a TOOL to enhance, not a replacement for any part of a creative process. As such, I will never use AI to write or voice any of my videos. Thank you all!
Redridge mountains next please 🙂
You deserve sooo much much more subscribers… Content of THIS quality is quite rare!
Gimme dat WoW vietnam, stranglethorn vale!
We need to see the Lore and interesting story of the Ghostlands. I love the Blood Elf origins and the people behind how it changed. Ghostlands has a lot behind it
As soon as he started talking about Goldshire
Moonguard: Heavy Breathing
Hate this guy.. "here on your map" "here on your map" "here on your map"…. Omg shut up
I love WoW lore and zone ambiance, so videos like this are right up my alley. Looking forward to more!
I HAVE A DEFIAS TATTOOOOO!!! (I need to turn on bell notifications for this channel!!)
love finding channels that are just a passionate dude making lore videos on random topics
Westfall has a TON of history behind it.
Love the respectful description of the Goldshire inn, despite its extremely uh… interesting reputation~ :3
This is pure GOLD. I applaud and thank your efforts and hard work that go into these! I look forward to more in this series 🙂
Humans have it easy not because of their starting area but because they get 10% bonus to all reputation gains!
Unpopular opinion: A lot of alliance players say horde are basically the villains of World Of Warcraft, because their leaders keep doing things that negatively affects everyone. That's just in current time though, historically the humans were horrible. They were racist, blood thirsty and greedy. The night elves as well were super greedy but that was a different kind of greed. I think out of all of the azeroth races, the humans are right up there with orcs in the amount of damage they've done to other races. The most common one brought up is the defias brotherhood. You can argue "Oh but they were mislead by Onyxia", and the orcs were mislead as well. The humans of azeroth are a very greedy race, and imo fit the stereotypical villian better than the horde, namely because they constantly justify their evil deeds as "justice" and other such terms.
While everyone is saying do Darkshire/Lakeshire/etc (which I also want), I would like to see for once something new. Nobody doing lore usually does anything past Wrath. Let’s see Uldum, let’s see the Twilight Highlands!
Your description of certain activities in Goldshire was … tactful.
I started playing wow in vanilla, played for a bit during tbc, but blossomed into a full on hardcore raider in wrath. I only logged in for raids in cata, and quit in pandaria after leveling a monk to 90.
And i know absolutely nothing about alliance lore because ive only ever played horde. I know every last damn corner of orgrimmar, TB, and UC, but i was always helplessly lost in SW and IF. I'm still so damn salty that alliance got worgen 🙁 i tried playing it but i just never felt like i belong. Alterac valley was hella fun as alliance tho, it's full on steamrolling on easy mode.
I kinda wish someone would make a mod for wow so I can play it sorta like an RTS but instead of controlling large amounts of units I have to do the quests to change world states
If you had multiple players you might want to do it as a coop type game to make the world changes coincide with all your actions and you all see the same thing
Basically I want to work towards controlling all the lands and worlds
But start like kenshi where you're just a dude
Lovely work. Happy to have come across your videos.
