First impressions after the release of World of Warcraft Shadowlands on my Apple M1 Macbook Air in 2560 x 1600 native. Installed addons: DBM, Weakaura, Damagemeter

After 6-7 hours of playing i recognized a permanent fps drop to about 50-55 even in less populated areas. I wasnt able to get up to 60 anymore most at that time. The macbook was also very hot in the upper area (where the F1 Buttons and numbers are).

For the fact that there were so many people in OG before release, the FPS were pretty good I think. On the other hand killing an Elite with that much people was hard as you can see in the video xD.
Right now I’m still leveling and exploring the new world and it plays just fine for me with more solid FPS again like in the end of the video.

Next up is a Video about World of Warcraft Classic ( Spoiler Alert! It doesn’t run as good as retail right now :/ ) and of course more retail testing in dungeons, pvp etc.

ENJOY THE NEW ADDON!
