Shadowlands Will be my last wow expansion. Been playing since it got out. If they not going back to basic not timegated gameplay.

All you fucking cry babies posting about shadowlands and it being dog shit, just quit the game. No reason for you guys to watch wow content and play the game. Personally I’m enjoying the game and I really like shadowlands as a whole. I play multiple Alts and have more fun in the game than I have had in years. All you negative ppl just take a break and come back fresh.
I think ppl are leaving the company and they're also cleaning the house. Its what Id expect a public traded company to do if it wants to survive. I hope they get their shit together as a company and for the sake of the game (which is in a dire need of a revamp).
Id split this playerbase like this: 3-4 million player for overwatch. 6-7 million players for WoW. The rest, 13-14million players for Hearthstone, cause you have to account for mobile users as well. I think that is more realistic. Im sure Hearthstone is waaay more profitable than wow or overwatch. And it doesnt even comes close to the likes of candycrush saga…
Raids and dungeons are fantastic in this expansion, but everything else is shit. I’ve been playing wow for i don’t know 15 years? I’ve been playing since the vanilla wow and this is the first expansion that makes me consider leaving the game. And i don’t give a shit about how they are running their company and all the scandals they are experiencing. It is just the game became tiring and simply not fun.

How do small indie studios make more content than most Blizzard games? It's a shame what they did to overwatch and Diabo ROS as those games could have rocked if more actual content went into the game than the numbers going up or a new map every 6 months.
wanna know what is making balance issues and everything too many people working on same game whit out original direction. especially when some content on dungeons is too easy because class is too op for that boss but no no if you nerf the class or boost the class it will break the balance you need adjust the mob. only adjust classes if the pvp you see how op other class is just let classes be if it does not break pvp

I don't have any trust or hope for better. The story makes 0 sense, there are barely any visible changes of story progression within the zones, half the time it doesn't make sense for us to be there or be helping, the systems limit gameplay don't add to it, world quests are boring and not worth doing,theres at least 7 completely dead talents in every class, most of the gear is boring in stats and visuals, there are essentially 3 planets of dead content, PTR alpha or beta major feedback is barely and rarely reflected on, pvp gets new content once in a decade it feels like. Not even gonna mention the torghast legendary thing or domination gear.
The decent things in the game are raids, world art, transmog and mythic+(which also needs alot of work), which only are fun if you have friends to play with.
I think these positions are open because people left the company. And even if they hire, nobody's gonna apply or there won't be too many people to apply because of the scandal and the requirements which most of them have previous experience on game company is a plus.
So people won't rush to this company now with the lawsuit and all the scandal.
Blizzard reported 10 million MAUs for Overwatch back in October of last year, it's definitely dropped since then

They are going to sell us 9.3 as a new xpac because shareholders. The way the market is for gaming companies it makes these studios release shit games because they are more worried about meeting quarterly earnings and kissing shareholders asses instead of making a great game. I really hate what the market has done to gaming, gaming should be a long term investment not a quarter to quarter investment. We will keep getting trash from these studios that put the shareholders before their own product.

If it was up to me you would not have any raids beyond 10 man. And the build more 10 man’s. Why 10 man has better balance and I’d you add CC/lower DPS but higher than healers and tanks, would just make a better game.

Time for wow 2 and they should let me design it.. build a full world, 3 continents with a new faction and having horde and alliances combine. Boats to travel the world, boats buy, and go back to trees with an end game 8 abilities at the end of each tree. Feral Druid could dps but 4 skills would make him much better. Feral tank the same.. Time in Shadowland’s is odd, but so when everyone leaves the enter a steampunk world 10k years in the future. But for gods sake, make it play like tbc.

it likely wont save the game from poor design choices, i think wow has 1 expansion after shadowlands and if they dont perform i dont think there will be another one.

I'd be ok with same talents or take away the least used and replace to make them competitive and moreso "flavor" or whats best for this activity. Systems account wide would be a HUGE QOL upgrade. Already play the shadowlands story then get to 60 and jump into gearing, none of this fates bs or anything: (LEVEL how you want and not be punished for it), covenants, torghast, conduits, etc. All systems account wide. Don't punish the player, encourage them to play more characters through ease of the systems.
