I don't think it's a psychology thing. In the first version you're encouraged to speed run to maximize efficiency while questing and that sounds stressful, where as rested XP you can take your time
Wow youre talking about 20 year old systems…they literally reverted then because they time gate everything..rested exp isnt evem that big of a deal. The main problems were bots,(which they still havent fixed), the difficulty structure, and the guild format to promote communities and not just people with spreadsheets that wont let you do content if you dont have a number that matches their exspectations
It makes sense, if you log in and you're leveling at a certain rate you consider that 100% and every bit it goes down is less, even if they frame it as 200.
Rested XP has the additional benefit of adding intentionality to logging off. Every time you see an inn, it acts as an unobtrusive subconscious opportunity to take a break.
Likewise, after a longer session, that short walk to an inn can act as a cool off period.
wow is dead
Video games are psychology. The reason shooters are so popular is because they rely on every possible dopamine hit they can create.
They don't have to convince me to stop playing.😂

Now they just hit you with buy the levels
Just play 10 alts. Problem solved
Now they made it so you cap your character after 2 hours

I never ever gave a shit about rested exp. xD
Why would you want players not playing ?

pvp is so unknown they just casually used the CR symbol and no one said anything
For the alliance

"the genius of rob pardo " can be seen reflected in the current stock price of Blizzard and it's affiliates……
I put 67k hours into world of warcraft before leaving. They did a great job with me LMAO. If you have any questions for a long time loser im here
Never cared about rested xp.
Means nothing to me lol.
I just play whenever I have time (which isn’t much)
Resting is crazy. You get like 5 minutes of rested time after resting for like 12 hours
so I made alts and rotated them based on rested XP….jokes on you I just played more.
He clearly underestimated the way of the altoholic!
Can we apply the same concept to Afixxes
