  1. I don't think it's a psychology thing. In the first version you're encouraged to speed run to maximize efficiency while questing and that sounds stressful, where as rested XP you can take your time

  2. Wow youre talking about 20 year old systems…they literally reverted then because they time gate everything..rested exp isnt evem that big of a deal. The main problems were bots,(which they still havent fixed), the difficulty structure, and the guild format to promote communities and not just people with spreadsheets that wont let you do content if you dont have a number that matches their exspectations

  3. It makes sense, if you log in and you're leveling at a certain rate you consider that 100% and every bit it goes down is less, even if they frame it as 200.

  4. Rested XP has the additional benefit of adding intentionality to logging off. Every time you see an inn, it acts as an unobtrusive subconscious opportunity to take a break.

    Likewise, after a longer session, that short walk to an inn can act as a cool off period.
