  1. This is what they said at blizcon. This is what I expected when I bought the expansion. I dont get why people are surprised just pay attention to what people say holy f.

Even more so the people crying wow needs a reset.. They aint going to reset before the story finished but they may after it does so save your complaints for after the 3rd expansion of this set.

  2. I just want more heart and grit, along with cool antagonists. Xal and Idrikron are pretty solid. I do hope they eventually give us expansions with more exploration of the world. See new places and old places. I just want to explore a world full of conflict and full of adventure.

  3. I don't think that the new story is that bad. Even with the small cinematics in the early access make me much more engaged with the villains and characters. Dagran some of the new characters have good directions with their new stories.

  4. I felt for a long time that Warcraft had lost it's fantastical elements in favor of being relatable and 'emotionally mature.'
Arthas or Illidan, for example, were never relatable and certainly not emotionally mature but what made them generational character was because they represented certain values that the playerbase could look up, inspiring them to become more like them rather than the characters acting more like normal people (Or what Californians think normal people act like.)

  5. Totally unimpressed. The dialogue is still Saturday-morning-cartoon tier. Shifts and changes in a character are bashed over our heads with "show but also TELL REALLY LOUDLY". The new animations are high quality but far too cartoonish for me to take seriously at all; Anduin in the announcement cinematic was perfect but it's all been downhill. Once again, I'm disappointed and have to settle for just enjoying dungeons and raids with friends, because the story stuff ain't worth investing in.

  6. Fans really liked legion from a story perspective, but nothing has really been as good since. WOW gameplay is also stuck in the WOTLK time period. All this time and the only truly innovative combat has been Plunder Storm.

  7. I love how Matt gets up to use the pooper and then immediately comes back with the you can only see the seams from the inside analogy. meaning he was probably looking at the inside of his seams … 😅

  8. The last three expansions were also “a new era for story telling” it’s done. The game had a good ride.

See ya in two months for “the cracks are beginning to show” video.

  9. Story where they beat up an old man and literally break his walking stick.

What? I'm not going to shill of either "oh it's really good!" or "oh it's really bad!" as if stories are one dimensional. The rest can be great, even amazing, but that was really weak, bro.

  10. Look back at some of WoW’s best expansions…in WOTLK we knew we would beat on the LK at the end. We would need to deal with Kel’T, Sindragosa, etc. But Blizz delivered in sequence, making the story feel believable and the players felt the impact they had along the long rough way up the ICC. Same with BC and KaelT, Vashj, Illidan. Milestones we knew we would have to cross, but it felt like a journey, not like a drop patch to race the boss.

  11. New Era of story telling at Blizzard. ALL FEMALE ALL THE TIME. I can't help but laugh, almost the ENTIRE cast of WoW is now female lore characters and the males are pretty worthless with clowns like Anduin who never misses a chance to get in touch with his feelings and shed some tears. THEN i go over to OW2 and low and behold they just introduced their 7th FEMALE character since OW2 went live, you read that right 7th one. What else have they introduced you ask? Good question. There has been a grand total of ONE male character, then there is ONE robot and ONE shemale which obviously fits their writing now (pretty much all ridiculous garbage tbh). Back to WoW, was there even a male character introduced at all that is worth mentioning in TWW? Oh wait, that's right Baelgrim dies before you leave the first zone, so there is that. So glad i don't play OW or Diablo anymore and the ONLY game i play from Blizzard is WoW and that's it. There was a time when all my games were Blizzard and they made good stuff, now it's just all downhill. Was hoping Metzen would actually right the ship but he is just apparently a cheerleader for more writing stupidity, can't wait for Anduin to go full female (at least then all his crying will make sense) and just become a trans body type 2 or whichever one the female body is.

Can't wait for some really cool games to come out to play like Mecha Break and Broken Arrow. Even Planet Coaster 2 will be a welcome respite from the ALL FEMALE ALL THE TIME NARRATIVE garbage.
