With a single act of destruction, Sylvanas Windrunner has ripped open the way to the afterlife. Azeroth’s staunchest defenders have been dragged into all-consuming darkness. An ancient force of death threatens to break its bonds and unravel reality. Hidden realms of wonder and horror await any who would pass to the other side. The Shadowlands is home to an entire realm of the departed; it is a world between worlds whose delicate balance preserves life and death itself. As one of Azeroth’s greatest champions, you have been granted the power to cross over in body and soul. Now you must investigate a conspiracy to unmake the cosmos, and help Warcraft legends journey back… or fulfill their ultimate destiny.

  1. Games that got Jesse famous:
Anything played with Crendor or other guests; WoW, Minecraft, Saints Row, Amnesia, those live action point n clicks, etc. Especially obscure ones, e.g. Revelations 2012,

    Also Witcher 2 & 3.

  2. …Blizzard really just needs to give up a make a new MMO instead.
The show of watching them desperately try to cling to life has turned from shamefully funny to just sad.

  3. Mayyyyyyybe I'm old.. but this editing style with constant random face-cam zooms and unnecessary sub titles makes it feel like something targeting the 12 year olds with ADHD audience.

  4. Jesse talking about too many choices is 100% correct. I work in sales and one of the first things my boss taught me was to show at most 5 things. Otherwise the client gets overwhelmed and are less likely to make a decision.

  5. I'm with Crendor. All the choices is the best choices. Then you never run out of stuff to do, or mess around with. I'd rather have a truckload of choices than just a handful

  6. Jesse just making them take away utility. I like having a button to pressing in certain scenarios instead of just sitting there getting dicked because blizz pruned my answer

  7. so fliping true 100000%, 'Too many choices doesnt want ppl to do a thing'; soon or later it becomes a chore to do, it becomes stressful because you know you will never be able to complete it all, and quiting and dropping back half way during the expansion is a nightmare
Look i might sound crazy or ppl might call me biased but something in Burning crusade an WOTLC worked, it worked for a lot of people in terms of content, progression and longetivivity of the game; have a look at what happenend there and just try to be take notes on it; i didnt say replicate the content, just take it as a guideline

  9. A friend of mine and I were talking about it. It's been confirmed time moves differently in shadowlands. This would be a good and logical place for WoW to 'End' and they can start fresh with 'WoW2' Have our characters go to shadowlands, make an epic sacrifice at the end of the expansion, and skip ahead like 1000 years. Give a good clean slate for the writers to do something without being chained to harshly to the games lore. Fuck we could FINALLY ditch the horde vs alliance crap!

  10. Is the Co-optional Podcast canceled? I haven't heard of or seen an update, and its been a few months. I was just hoping if it was canceled, they would do a farewell podcast or something to conclude it.

  12. 6:30 I mean you're not wrong, but WotLK, the proclaimed "best expansion ever" by many, also involved us fighting vikings, mechagnomes, titan creations, an old god, Malygos who was crazy now for some reason, and each other using jousting.
