The Dragon Isles are a lush and primal place bursting with elemental magic and the life energies of Azeroth, and once served as the dragonflights’ broodlands and the center of their kingdom when Azeroth was young. During the Great Sundering, much of the land’s magic was drained away and the dragons were forced to leave their homeland in the care of the titanic watchers, the drakonid, the dragonspawn, and the dryads that were left behind. The watchers used the Beacon of Tyrhold to hide the Isles away from all outsiders, as well as the dragons themselves. When a time came when elemental energy resurged and the dragons could be drawn home to reestablish their kingdom, the watchers would light the Beacon and reveal the Isles to the world once more.
Having been hidden away for more than 10,000 years, the Dragon Isles are a place that few have heard of and even fewer have been to. The Black Prince Wrathion long searched for the Isles, but was unable to find them as other dragons were not forthcoming in information.

Hi. The promised Dragon Isle movie is here. The music has been out for some time. Some of you might have listened to it by now.
This movie should have been released at least 48 hours before, but I have big issues with my computer. My graphics card (Nvidia 1080 Ti) seems to have problems lately (big fps drops while in WoW and now I can't render in Premiere Pro, I've rendered this movie 11 times). Apologies for the delay.
Now to business:
– This is not the entire music, just a selection / mix which I've made; More music in the related zone video (coming soon);
– I still adapt to the music from Dragonflight. I am not saying it's bad, I was expecting less ambiental music sometimes;
– Some music is just great, I loved it from the beginning, some tracks I've learned to love after few times I've listened to it;
– There isn't enough Thaldraszus and Valdrakken music, we need more music there;
– Jake Lefkowitz, David Arkenstone and Glenn Stafford composed most of the music, but I saw Derek Duke and C. Nguyen helping. Maybe 2 more main composers would have been great, to bring more variety. I was expecting for Derek Duke to compose the Tuskarr pieces (like he did in Wrath) and I did not see Neal Acree's name at all in this expansion. It's a great loss in my opinion. And yea… a wild thought… I wanted to see Russell Brower coming back one last time for the Azure Span tracks. This did not happen.
– The zones videos are coming next, but it's wise to wait a bit to see if there is more music coming out. I'll work in the background if my main computer allows it. But I fear my video card will not hold much more.

This zone was made with WoTLK in mind. Its basically a recreation of it in modern wow. Even the land marks are basically from it…. and it is great 😀
During the last expansion, I used to put my own music to play on the background. Guess I won't need to anymore, and I'm glad for it! Amazing soundtracks!
This has long become a tradition of Blizzard – telling shitty stories taking place in beautiful locations with gorgeous music.
I think the music is really lame. It all sounds the same now. It doesn't feel like anything magical anymore.

Got very bored of DF music…had to put older expansions music in the background.
Such a pity that one of the best tracks is so saddeningly short, Tyrhold is an incredible track with that familiar Northrend Storm peaks/Ulduar melody that carries it gently into the next motif.

Even i like dragon riding..i understand now flying shouldn't open that fast..never feel same how you discover places while ground riding..now fly fast ..land where u need to be and move fast away..but again even i like this exp. still there is no special zone like ashaenvale..like barrens..like zangar for years..Blizz should work on zones way more

Just stumbled over this and want to give thanks for creating and sharing it. As always, the music in this expansion is amazing, though can understand the challenge in getting to know the music in game in each zone when you're doing mach 3. /wink

Has there been any mention or use of Wyrmrest in Northrend during Dragonflight? I haven't been on retail in some time.
