  1. Hey everyone, this was recorded before the latest firmware update: performance should AT LEAST 20% better than this! For comparison, check out my FIFA videos that are 2 weeks apart. HUGE difference!

  2. This was what was keeping me from buying the steam deck. Like cool its a pc but it doesnt have THE pc game i want to play. Definitely getting this or maybe wait for the inevitable ally 2.0 where it fixes whatever issued this one might have.

  3. In case anyone's wondering, WoW also works great on the Steam Deck. It runs at high settings at 60fps on old content, but the newer expansions drop down to 30-40. You can download an add-on called console port that gives you a controller ui/controls.

  4. Maybe you can help me out and tell me what the secret to play wow on the ROG Ally is without it going to black screen and locking up the entire Ally. I've restored to factory, lowered all setting to the lowest possible and updated all drivers and I can play for about 30-45 seconds after entering world and it just locks up.

  5. How does it handle the good Ole laggy Boralus harbor? Or dalaran city? Interesting device. I actually play wow on my phone via remote desktop and it's OK but having physical buttons instead of virtual buttons would be nice. Only thing I wonder is how many buttons could be mapped on this device. When I play on my phone I am able to make all my skills and items on the screen but its one hell of a cluster fck. Keep in mind I play druid which imo has a lot more skills and items to map in comparison to other classes
