Its a bad game, has been for since activision put their hands on it
Bfa pretty much made me lose all hope in wow.
As a pvp player, I was so hyped to hear about an expansion that was supposed to emphasise horde vs alliance conflict.
But in the end, it was the complete opposite of what it promised to be.
It felt like the system was designed to make it as difficult as possible for pvp players to play pvp…
It felt like I ordered a steak but blizzard came with an empty plate and took a big fat shit on it and threw it straight at my face.
the state of pvp was so atrocious that despite multiple months trying to make it work I had to cancel my subscription for my own sanity.
I don't know a single one of my pvp friends which have all played pvp since BC religiously that didn't quit in bfa.
The only reason we quit was because of the state of the game.
There was no external forces that influences our decision of quitting the game.

What the fuck is so hard about going back to the times when this game actually worked,
place a fkin vendor for honor it's that easy.
give us normal loot to distribute to OUR OWN best guild players

Still a better system than BFA where you never got BG upgrades unless you're participating in Rated PVP and obtain a rating score.
Are people honestly complaining about unlocking renown once throughout the expansion? You unlock it in the 1st season and after that you don't need to anymore. Also why the fuck is everyone complaining about it being timegated? The whole community was complaining about endless AP grinds in Legion and BFA, now they add a weekly cap so you don't grind 24/7 and you lot complain again??
This player base is impossible to please. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I just ended my WOW subscription because of this, I'm over this shit.
Timegating is reproachable. You should keep the flow of the game natural by actual character progression being the only gate to walk through.

I honestly don’t care how long battlegrounds gearing is going to take. It’s always been a slow hearing process if you only PVP. There are other issues that are way more impactful like queue times, autofill issues, and faction imbalance. He isn’t complaining but ffs, anyone who values their time doesn’t gear through pvp anymore. You do pve because it’s always faster. If you look at the math/ilvl rewards, it’s only a few weeks difference. They should make the 197 ilvl obtainable by the week season one opens and nerf the requirements to be fair but they should increase the requirements of ilvl gear after that because the pve gearing is much harder as far content and variance of fights/mechanics. You smash one mage and you can smash the next. The amount of shit you have to know as a pve player at the start of an expac is part of the difficulty imo. Not everyone has beta and gets to play through the content 100 times like the people who make these videos.
Blizzard you don't want to play game well play game more to play game NOW! Timegating isn't content it is a god damn timer fuck this mobile game bullshit.

They shoulda remove PVP from the game at this point, or put the PVP People out of PVE things.

Pvp gear should not = pve
Especially lore wise. If i got armor from a dungeon or raid in the maw it should highly outrank something I would get from a PVP vendor or honor rewards. While the time it takes to get the gear is crap for pvp i think that should change, but pvp gear shouldnt = mythic-10-15.
Otherwise pve content makes no sense and we should all kill each other for the best gear instead of doing anything remotely related to the story..

Hey guys, I have a question about this stuff.. How long would it take to get this sort of gear in a rated setting? (RBG/Arena) is the system the same as it is now? (Random items sometimes with conquest working toward a specific item) or are we changing to TBC-era Conquest, where you get a fixed amount per week to spend on gear?
Because, yeah it seems like a long time to get geared in honor gear in BGs, but whats the problem if you can just go into arena and get better gear in there?

Why they didnt go with a PvP stat is mind boggling to me. I liked the WoD PvP gearing where if you enter PvP combat ilvl is higher.

I had a dream of asmon yesterday. He was running around a room and for some reason he was panicking so much he started to scratch his head really intensly, then his hair started to fall off his head and he got so furious he went and fucking started to run around the room scratching his head and the hair fell all over the floor untill he had hair only on the sides. This is really like a mobile game system.
Having 6 different sources where you have to scrape your gear from. Just for the sake of wasting your time because in the end, you dont have a full set. You just have 6 partial sets.

People are raging towards a system that is not meant for them. Any serious pvp-er will get their gear from rated pvp. Unrated bg's are the lfr/random heroics of pvp. You can a 100% afk these and still "succeed". Compare how long it takes to get full lfr gear, not m+ where you should actually be able to somewhat play your class.
he is comparing a m+ with a bg , afk in bg = get item , be a noob in m+ waste time and dont finish in time 1 item, or not finish at all and get 0 items.

Bring back mop gearing and add a pvp stat
easy solution to fix the problem without affect pve players and make Ion happy: Change the pvp trinket bonus to increase versatility bonus of just the pvp set…easy fix but they are too dumb to doing such a simple thing. They won't even need to redesign anything
