I think Max didn't remember that assa was the worst spec of all befor 9.05 hits; it became good in ST for the rest of the expansion after the buff to s'n'd being refreshed automatically. But it was dogshit the IMPORTANT part of Nathria, so it end up at the very bottom of B or even C-tier imo. And havoc suffered a comparable fate, because their st was super low , while vengeance was meta tank. Took long until the much needed buff was in.

Seems like as a 2H Frost DK I was right to just stay out of the raiding scene until the final months of SL, and even then only participating in LFR fated ones. Blizz did us dirty for most of it, it seems

Looks like Ret Paladin will be garbage tier again since the class dev ignored 1k+ posts of feedback and has no clue what the issues with ret actually are. But hey "Movement is fun so you aren't getting any". Pathetic.
Always feels good to have someone with more credit then myself say what I've been saying about Ret for the whole expansion, especially when so many people were saying "but ret brings bubbles and LoH and offheals", such a joke lol
As a pvp-first player looking to branch out, it is weird to see fire mage not in the S++++ tier here 😂
It's looking fairly bleak for Ret. Sadly there doesn't seem to be anyone raising their voices about the issue like people did for Priests or Druids so.
As soon as i saw him not put fire mage S tier i was out.

If the game is a very great game that is worth every moment. My opinion about playing Nintendo died a long time ago. When I was a child with the N64 in the 90's. I know what great gaming could be.
Max, small word of advice, please don't make the thumbnail basically the finished list. As soon as I see that it makes me not want to watch because i already know what the list will be

You can't be a DPS spec that is the literal lowest throughput spec in the game for a tier and end up in S tier. Boomkin was S++++ in Sanctum, and A+ / S- in CN (council hyper inflated), and was a hard C in S3. Boomkin is like A+ for the expansion. Only H Pal is S for the whole expansion, IMO.
Ive mained ret since classic ,Plz Blizzard fix out talents in Dragonflight the spec is Worse now than shadowlands thats SAD
As a shaman main I find it incredibly weird to see Enhance in A, but Ele in B. Enhance was pretty dog almost the entire expansion UNTIL Sepulcher where it was strong for purely just Boss Damage, it was probably overall A tier in Sepulcher just because it didnt offer much in the way of any of the fights that had adds or 2+ targets. In Sanctum it was still pretty bad though, although better than it was in CN because its ST was better to the point that they were actually worth bringing for WF totem(also that was heavily influenced by Rogue being super strong with frost dom sockets, and EoN).
Whereas Ele was pretty good for most of the xpac, it was actually strong in CN after getting buffed, and it was strong in Sepulcher. I find it weird that you specifically mentioned how great it was for Sanctum when Sanctum was the raid I spent more time on the bench for during prog than any other raid as Ele because Ele's ST was pretty dog back then. It just had value for mythic prog on specifically Soulrender, Fatescribe, KT, and Sylv aka the fights where there was actually AoE since that was the only thing it was good for. And mind you, despite those fights being the only bosses you wanted it for, I still got benched for Soulrender because we had WW/Boomies and didnt need the extra AoE, and also got benched on Sylv prog because we had the option of bringing me (on ele) and 2 venthyr Boomies, or bench me and bring 3 Venthyr boomies, which obviously my guild decided 3 venthyr boomies was much better since they had a huge impact on mythic Sylv.

I'd be happy as a mage if the only time we weren't top was when Fire was actually just kinda broken in a weird way as a spec. I want to see a well made arcane do well. I've been rather tempted to just reroll warlock since mages strengths are often PVP and I don't care for PVP. Barely care about M+. Been falling back on Boomkin alt most of this xpac and I usually alt Ret but they are never good, i just enjoy them haha. I wish they were better.
FR i almost never saw shadow this xpac
Unholy was SO GOOD in CN that they straight up gave it a 45% Mastery nerf that it will likely not recover from for a while It feels real bad to swap from a FDK to UDK and see your mastery go from 60% to 35%

Raid tier list? Gross. This tier the raid tier will be WAY different than the M+ list. Hpal will be dogwater in M+.

Frost mage carried sod until fire get the buffs. And still frost is really good on st damage when fire doesnt get PI

I think Aff and Destro should both be two ranks higher than shown – A and B respectively. Demo is definitely S – it was very good in SOD and BIS in Sepulcher. Aff was BIS in CN when demo and destro were legit pretty bad (demo was only good on sludgefist). Destro was actually quite good in SOD and Sepulcher, but it was underplayed because of demo being giga – it was better than most A and B tier classes until the nerf in S4.

“Resto Druid just owned, who would’ve thought.” Yeah dawg, you are MAD good at the game but you really do show how out of touch players in your category are with that one. Resto Druid OWNED, and 99% of player-base knew it. Boggles my mind how the upper echelon write off certain things.
Paladin was SAD… but glad? S tier, a tier, d tier.
