I want to love my kitty again but DH is so much better. As for best feral I really enjoyed the end of BFA feral with high crit and tiger fury giving crit. It made your generators hit hard and pop 2 combo points. So good. We need tiger fury giving crit as baseline

My friend who got me into wow mained a NE druid in vanilla and loved feral. Sadly due to their stigma he only got to raid because of battle rez and innervate. I haven't seen him log in since end of Wod. Miss him a lot.
I always heard that feral plays like a Sin rogue, I wonder if thats true. I love Sin rogue. It might be my favorite thing to just chillax to. I've never really mained rogue, but its probably what just clicks in my head the most. I've never played Feral for more than a week straight in my many many years of playing, so maybe I need to give it a real shot for awhile. At least see if its what I've been missing in my life.

I think Blizzard long time ago decided that feral should be a niche spec , for pvpers.
Thats mindblowing thinking about boomies having thyphoon baseline, stampeding roar baseline, innervate baseline….trees as talent. Not to mention as boonkin you are range, and you already do more damage ( numbers change, not utility).
Aside that, feral as spec got good damage, amazing self sustain, really good utility , amazing priority damage…problem are boonkins. Thank you Blizzard .

I'm surprised that Flame doesn't play Feral with the flaming cat skin.
I'm really not a fan of class specific utility. No single class should have a unique form of utility because then you get to the point where a specific class is mandatory. This doesn't mean every class should do everything, but a second class having Anti-Magic Zone wouldn't automatically kill DKs in groups for example. Feral's main problem imo is their poor AE damage. Their single target damage is respectable but they simply don't have a strong AE option. They need to make Brutal Slash have a way to refresh its charges (for example every combo point used reduces its cooldown by 4 seconds) so they can use Brutal Slash more often. I'd also like to see Incarn changed. It being a 1min cooldown with a 10 second duration is INFINITELY more valuable than a 3min cooldown 30 second duration skill.

Great chat with the grumpy cats :). I have a feral my fav druid spec bring the damage no problem, but yes it does need something to help get picked for sure. I dont play it much these days only because its so hard to get groups.
I’m glad to see this topic! I’m a new player and Feral is my main jam but it gets so hard in AoE and certain dungeon bosses. There are a lot of L where you get jumped by multiple mobs. I am leveling a fire mage right now (boomkin isn’t as fun imo) and not a day goes by I don’t feel indignant at how unfairly dps and defenses are distributed. Feral needs to either get a damage buff or at least be less squishy or make barkskin like 50% reduction in damage etc. I think it’s cute for different classes to bring different skills but agree raid buffs should go away or be much less limiting.

Feral needs a buff for sure. I really wish they would buff bleed builds.
Uhh I find it enjoyable to hit darkness, it saves a wipe and progresses the fight
Feral should have a shroud ability. It's dumb that they don't. It gives it to another spec firstly, and secondly it gives feral some really good utility for M+. If Blizzard is adamant on the buffs, then it should probably bring a buff that is useful in raids mostly.
I would also say AoE needs to be cleaned up on a few specs not just Feral. It is a mandatory part of M+.

i m still on the "dont spread everything to everyone" to be honest.. also i dont like the "remove" mentallity ….i want the mto add not remove….anyway very big matter for one discussion, i love different opinions , to listen and empower my opinion or see a different perspective! very nice video… i would love to try and achieve that every spec is a nice niche to play…. even if there is unbalance and meta (cause all game works like this and its ok).. but dont let specs die out.. is another thing to have meta and another to have some specs be dead a whole expansion.. .very nice video!! Another problem with feral AOE specifically is having to Moonkin weave to get more DPS. Perhaps having sunfire useable whilst in catform w/ the boomie affinity would give us the DPS buff we need instead of wasting 3 GCD's on one ability.
Make sunfire a druid baseline ability. Have lunar inspiration on the aoe bar and have it included sunfire and moonfire. "Sunfire and moonfire can now be cast in cat form, cost 30 energy and generate one combo point"
