I'm a huge arcane mage player and I only disagree with the mini burst phase where I think that we should cast Rune before casting Magi so that we don't lose any precious second on Magi to cast rune and just do damage. Awesome video, final note : there is a secret trinket far more powerful but only true arcanists knows about it. Some say the knowledge of it has been… lost in time ? 😉

yeah im a venthyr aracane mage and im loving the change to mirror of shadows. its a fun spec and i can burst up pretty well along with other fire mages. but in my opinion your best opener has been probably the affliction lock guide for 8.3.

Just a thought, perhaps adding a small "reasons to play this class" section at the end could be something fun?
kinda new to WoW whats tht addon your using tht shows your rotation?
Night Fae might be the "best" Covenant numbers wise, but it can't beat the sheer asthetic or hard hitting cleave of Necro.
I had that into playing out loud…safe to say the person who heard it without context heard something completely different to what was actually happening 👀…

We noticed the newest changes to the covenants and the SIMs are showing a very large increase in 🦴Necrolord`s🦴 usage.
It performs best in AoE, by about 10% higher than the others, while being almost top in Single Target, with only 0.3-0.5% under Venthyr, making it THE BEST overall pick in your covenant tree, with Emeni as a soulbind. Lead by Example working very well with the Deathborn ability.
Things change with new patches and we will do our best to keep you updated! Make sure to also check the Altered-Time Discord for anything and everything that will change with Mages going forward!

As an arcane main, Really recommend anyone doing nightfae to try out 3rd soulbind Korayn with the execute phase damage buff and go middle for very last one for First Strike giving you a massive 25% crit bonus on enemies you hit first along with wild hunt tactics giving you another 10% damage buff. Especially in mythic+ or even raid bosses, this makes your opener DPS and execute phase absolutely MASSIVE. Pull 7-15k DPS on the opener for a solid 15-20 seconds with it coming back around for execute phase.
Another really good arcane mage content creator is brofessor hemlock. Good video btw
