  1. You know…I might actually go on and try it once the update releases – especially the Android support captivates me quite a bit! Does it support Classic addons?

  2. big thing missed here is that the rebuilt client allows them to overcome all limitations on private server development prior. All modding was locked behind whether the client would accept it or not and how easy it would be to update the client on it. They can now freely mess with any system, map, etc.

  3. i play on this server – the pvp version. pop is about 250 online during peak but its the same people always and they/we are very active and helpful. so the cities feels alive and much more.. yes theres very little world pvp. but the bgs are active too.
I dont know why people dont give the pvp server much love.. it is AWESOME!

Thanks from Slashignore – UD Shadow priest

  4. They're probably planning to do what they did with classic and buy out the talent and work that makes it possible to run in UE5 for a cheaper price than doing the coding and putting in the man hours themselves.

  5. Yeah without new models and textures its barely going to look any different but don't blame them that shit takes time. The engine alone opens up a lot of potential for it so props!

  6. i have a feeling if this is successful blizzard will steal the idea and shutdown the original makers of it
or best case scenario they officialise it but this is blizzard the chances of that happening are very slim indeed

  7. Man this looks horrible. Unreal engine is great sure but most games made from it all look like unreal engine.

Let the pros do it. They know what they’re doing. An wow looks great and the design/art style is the key.

Who ever made these unreal engine models sucks. Hands down. 😂

  8. I would like to explain why Turtle Wow was not shut down by Blizzard.

Turtle WOW is a second-generation product of the simulator. The open source code is rewritten by themselvies. It is an open source server that anyone can use. As long as it is not for profit, anyone can set up a test server for the simulator. Turtle WOW is free to play.

Moreover, the Servers are in Europe, and European laws protect player's virtual accounts very well. Game companies lose nine out of ten lawsuits against players. If you sue them for infringement, they can also sue you for monopoly.

  9. Turtle WoW is what I thought Classic+ (season of discovery) was going to be. Instead we got some wotlk abilities early and… already made dungeons expanded into raid form. Cool.

  10. The primary issue that prevents me from enjoying Turtle WoW right now is the fact that they use the clunky old WoW 1.0 client. If this update changes that then I'll gladly give it another try.
