  1. Diablo 3 at launch, even after a 1-2 patches was a decent game, it was hard, elite packs were hard asf to kill, they were rewarding, there was an economy where you could actually trade items… They made it garbage. Bop'ing all items, nerfing elite packs heavily, destroying group play… They F'd it up lol. I would be careful as a YouTuber with a massive platform saying that D3 was too hard, game developers will get the wrong idea for future games and make them too easy. Which is not what we need in todays era of games. We need games to cater to hard core gamers not sales now days, that is hard to find. That is why I like ghostcrawlers idea so much, a game should be able to be the most challenging while also having zones that your grandma can play. Both styles can exist in modern gaming, but many games omit the hard the part, only have easy and just build cash grabs. Why not have both?

  2. while the original sex for gold post may or may not be fake, I know for a fact that people have done that and more for gold and am surprised xaryu is shocked that this happens

  3. Plot twist: that "double value" was quickly lost when he later found out she wasn't on the pill, and he was on the hook for her WoW lifestyle for the next 18 years. 🤷‍♂️

Edit: I played EQ during the "Fires of Heaven" days, and I gotta say…that absolutely reflects Furor's true personality. The dude was a prick.

  4. This video series shows me that there really seemed to be 2 different social worlds in WoW that people ran in, either PVP world or PVE world(yes i am sure there was some who lived both) because I know almost all of the PVE players/stories and not much PVP where Xaryu seems to not know about or remember the PVE stuff but can name all of the PVP stuff before MadSeason finishes the first sentence explaining them.

  5. So with classic rereleased and unmerged cthun it seems he was finally proven wrong. That it was possible to beat. Though we aren't mimicing the bad Internet which is probably the biggest reason why it was back then.

  6. The best thing Xaryu has ever said. "I dont play retail much but whats up with these graphics. These look dope." – Well they have improved from Classic. No need to be Dumass from Hillsbrad.

  7. D3 was good it lacked something D2 had though which is end game longevity. These days people want instant gratification, making them want drops sooner so you could max your character out very swiftly in D3 – and then you were farming paragon which isn't as rewarding as finding a full perfect rune word that took 80 hours in itself to farm

  8. It feels like Blizzard just doesnt care anymore for years. Maybe its just me, but ofc i understand that they want to earn money with the games, but earning money is the result of a good game long term right ? I mean check out Diablo 4. Its the greatest example for greediness. Putting in a Mount that costs as much as a AAA game makes me think "yeah i don't want to play a game like that".

  9. I played on Laughing Skull during the Craigslist Mount ad. Played a Resto Druid, but I was horde. My buddy played Alliance and tried to hit the girl up for the transaction… and well let's just say things were a lot weirder than anyone would have thought.
