Shadowlands PvP, Mythic +, and Raiding are accessed by most players using the LFG, also known as the looking for group tool. The tool is filled with boosters and advertisers for gold carries, and many players are excluded from groups based on their class. For years, many players in the community have been asking for a revamp of this system and the potential for a solo queue system. The RBG and Arena communities have been hurting quite some time now. The end game content of Shadowlands is not easily accessible, and a revamping of the LFG system could enable players to pursue said content. We were able to get Blizzard’s attention in the past, and perhaps we can catch their attention before the awaited Shadowlands 9.0.5 Patch.

I can’t do much more than this. We worked so hard on this one. This video is aimed at starting conversation on how we can fix the problems many of you experience in LFG. I’m not a developer. These aren’t full proof solutions. But it’s not our job as the playerbase to come up with solutions. We just need to report the problem. Please go out and say something. Yea totally agrees, I am just personally more into PvP, but I have no experience with WoW (But with other MMO's).
I just made MM hunter BCS why not.
I can do random BGs/Epic BGs yea that's kinda fun, but it gives u some daily reward for a win and then basically u have no reason to play It because there is no progress nothing to go for.
So okay I have a weekly quest to achieve 1500 honour in rated BGs I go to lfg an I keep looking for a group that takes me for 30 mins, then I got a group with a bunch of randoms and we got wiped by a group of premades.
So I can't fill in the weekly quest means I won't get the conquest, which means I can't get better gear and I am behind in progress.
Also, I can't complete weekly vaults when it comes to PvP because nobody want's to play with me.
And there are problems with the healers in every single MMO almost so I don't mind waiting 5 minutes in the queue doing world quests and stuff than searching in LFG system and being unable to do anything during searching.
So I ended up basically playing mythic+ dungeons because I can get gear there and it's quite easier to get a group even tho I enjoy playing PvP more and also I can get my weekly vault to give me some gear by doing mythic dungeons.
These were literally the same problems with dungeons back in WotLK. People asked for high GS and left when someone failed some mechanic. I mostly had guildies help me with gearing my alts because getting into random groups was such a hassle. Then they introduced RDF and the amount of hate they get for this is unbelievable. Imagine being a dev and having one part of the community cry about your auto-group system and another part asking for another one. :^)

Hmm I'm sure there is something like this. I believe it's called Forums. It's kinda new so I'll give you a run down of what it is.
You make a post and people can then read that post and comment if they wish. Then in the morning or after work or whatever you can go back onto the forums and see that people have posted there. This SOLOQUE idea that you have going on is a good idea … For LAZY people just like tinda. You wanna fuck but you don't wanna go to the pub and put work in. Also, what is the difference between what you just designed as a concept and LFG now? LFG you sign up and if people want you they'll take you, if they don't you'll get declined. It's the same as what you've just made up.

I just started to play with whoever applies first, no matter if they are literal beasts or total beginners. i just want to play. in former expansions i have always cared about my rating and hit atleast 2k cr in all brackets
I wanted to try retail after having not played the game since the first pvp season of cata and no one I knew who played arena still played despite having a pretty large network as a high rated player on BG9 thru all of wotlk. After leveling 5 characters in shadowlands so I'd be sure to have a meta class I still couldn't find a single steady arena partner. Even with a 2700 3's achievement I'd end up with people will really really bad attitudes or 1400 players (who I played with anyway) but they'd always feel the pressure of the brackets once we broke 1600-1800 and quit. SoloQ worked amazingly on the arena-tournament realms and I know blizzard could implement it, they're just lazy and cheap it feels like. I hope your video makes a difference.

wow is a cheap product nowadays i mean after 15 years u still have to read quest text. They won put any cent into pvp. Be realistic

I Have exactly this problem, last season on alliance had only alliance chars was seting at 2.2 cr with 2 hpaly and 1 disc, wantedto push for glad … was seting in lfg for 5 hours to get queus or sometimes not even geting it, i have achieved 2.2 on every classes, since mop to now, i cant by pass this because i have literaly no friends to play with, and even if u had ppl in ur list they play with their friends and they grind cr more efficietly so they wont be able to queu with you anymore … when im writing this message iam seting even in LFG, i saw more ppl are horde so i switched my two paladins to horde side one is 2.1cr 3s with 224 ilvl and the other one is 1.9cr atm even after 3 months of shadowlands, can get barely ppl to grind with, so i get tired of seting lfg and went for pve also … i have 1.7k rio now that was pain also to find keys to push but was slightly better i would say … the thing is even at the end of BFA s4 i was so peaced because i was into pvp alot and im litteraly doing every thing wrong with cooldown rotations and stuff … i went to try the solo queu system on warmane … i dont even know how this private server have solo queu since 10 years now and blizzard still didnt add it, went really hard on it , boom i just log and spaam spaam spaaam queus, went to 2.6 it was easy mode after i did get the gear, on retail idk mate its just a struggle af to find ppl to play with …. they should just add solo queu the same system as WARMANE and they can make it even better by you queu only to proper comps not just random comps, like if ppl join the solo queu system they will have guarantee team that works with that comp; THEY taking too much time to add it god damn it ..

Honestly i urge blizzard to implement this type of system. Although i dont really like the find players part because its basicly just the same system as finding guild and community which isnt very rewarding. Yesterday was definetly not the first but i was online for 12+ hours and i think overall i played 30 arena games in total. I play warrior which are really good this expansion but im stuck at 1600 and my friends unfortunatly all play classes that dont synergise in arena very well so our options are limited and i have in previous expansion only pve and raided. I queued up to every RBG possible for like an hour got declined by all of them due to no previous experiense and warriors arent favored in RBG.
I have an idea that id like others thoughts on. Since Pvp and competetive gameplay in everygame is min maxing every advantage possible. for a fair fight to complement this system.
In every competetive enviorment there should be an as equal opertunity to win. This is hinderend by ilvl which is a huge part of the game. so it has to be thought about carefully how to do this in the best way.
While in arena only
In a competetive enviroment it should be about skill and players abilities more than gear. ofcourse gear is a part of it.
you raiting such as. combatant, challanger, rival, duelist, elite the gear is scaled accordingly.
examples. Im 1600- i have 213 gear on everything. if i drop down to 1550 and face other 1550 ppl. my gear slightly gets scaled down to 207 on so you have equal oppertunities. sort of like in timewalking dungeons.
This helps against boosting aswell. It is very hard for a player at 1400 while learning the game to play against elite geared players with more experience, skill and also 10k more hp and damage.
Obviously these new players probobly lose anyway but atleast its because of skill.

I'm not sure I agree with solo queue, as it already exists in skirmish form.. If you wanna practice, do skirmish, do BGs, do world PVP etc. The LFG stuff sounds promising though! Could definitely use a more fleshed out LFG system to find and play with others.

As a more casual player I've wanted soloque for a long time now but I feel it would be somewhat redundant for me as I don't have the time to get BiS gear like everyone else I see in game. some kind of stat template like from Legion would be amazing for it to allow those more casual players an even playing field on content they want to be a part of.
This is a massive problem, I cancelled my sub because of this very reason. If they were to implement this, I’d come back

It's great that you expose the biggest flaw in the game right now. The reason I unsubbed last week was mainly because of no one I can play with and LFG is totally trash, waiting 1 hour to find people and then they leave after 2 games… I tried many guilds but still couldnt find people to play with, I have 2200 xp from before and I still cannot find people to play with. Stuck at 1500 doing some 1-2 arenas with random people who give up after that. Is just useless.
You're a legend, I hope this works so hard. I'm a 2.2 rated Hpala, I spend at least 40% of my game time sitting in LFG and trying my best to enjoy riding my mount around org. I imagine non-meta dps classes have it much worse, please blizzard, throw us a crum.

Sat in lfg for an hour and nothing. Searched to joined group. Declined. 1.8 spriest and got achievement for 2.2. Really need looking at.
Have you tried reaching out to xunamate maybe to get something put together ourselves? Let’s be honest they’ve addressed it and ignored it for 3 years.
The next course of action (like private servers) is to do it our fucking selves until they realise this is what people want.
That is literally the reason I don't even bother to PvP. It is worst than LFG for Raiding and M+. I would definitly get a lot of motivation to play arena and BGs if we had SoloQ.
I am sure the PvP aspect of the game would be way more succesful if we could play solo.
