  1. I’m am less excited about the patch now. It doesn’t sound like Bliz has learned their lesson. I just wanna play the game at my own pace, not wait weeks to finish a story line or inch reputation progress.

  2. I just don't understand why the developers are so keen to lock the rewards you can get behind highly annoying systems. This is the last patch… why not have 226 gear just drop off all the mobs in the new zone? Why not make it bound to account? Why not give all mobs in the zone a single currency that you can use to do whatever you need to do like upgrade gear, get bonus loot tokens, unlock transmog sets or buy collectibles like mounts and pets? Why not have a bunch of daily quests be zone wide objectives like "kill x elites", or "collect x currency", or "defeat 1 rare elite", or "defeat the world boss", or "collect x resources"????? Seriously, why are daily quests so boring and contrived, when we could just be given vague objectives that would allow people to go do whatever they want in the zones in the way they prefer? Maybe you like a particular area of the map, then go do you dailies there, and perhaps go to this difficult area full of elites because there is superior loot to get from chests, and maybe this other area has lots of resource nodes? It should be that players do the content they enjoy the most and then get rewards from it over time, rather than the way it is these days where rewards are the only thing compelling players to do anything. I remember spending hours farming the timeless isle because it was just so much fun to run around and kill large groups of rather dangerous elites, and knowing on top of that that I might find a chest full of epic loot to sent to alts as well as a tone of coins to spend at the rep vendor. The timeless isle was the perfect zone for raiders like me, it gave us a fun, contained area full of stuff to do casually while we won't doing hardcore content, it was so refreshing and we got to send all the goodies we found to our alts and get them up to raiding level fast while never having to do any of that "catch up" people talk about these days. Seriously, does anyone want to go through the slow part of gearing up and getting a new character up to level while playing that non optimised and weak character? Or would they much rather do all they had to do on their main and then just transfer that progress onto their alts? Timeless isle allowed you to only play your main if that's what you wanted and still have decently geared alts that could hop into raiding anytime you felt like it. Best time in wow history for alts and I would never play WoW as much as I did back then. I do understand if non hardcore players want content they can do on their mains that isn't just grinding mobs like I would like, but my question is: why can't we have both?

  3. Blizzard wandered too far and lost their way. I was playing around Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor today and man, the game was actually pretty good. The place we're in Shadowlands is dumb and the story is too much and they're ruining good characters.
I like that the next expansion might be dragons since they're actually a Warcraft thing and on Azeroth.. but Blizzard will find a way to make it boring and bad. It'll probably be some small island and we'll be logging in to use a mission table every day.
I also wish they would try to use existing resources for professions instead of adding new ones every time and further nullifying 80gb of game data they have but don't use.

  4. Why would you even need tier sets or legendaries or higher ilvl anyway if you don't raid or do m+ or pvp? You don't need any of that stuff to kill a rare in the open world so I don't think it matters. I kinda like that casuals get 252 ilvl which what mythic raiders have in current patch. The power difference between someone who raids mythic and someone who raids lfr should be apparent or otherwise what's even the point of pushing higher content? Like yeah getting cutting edge is cool and all but I also want to be decked out in OP gear while getting my cutting edge and I want to see that yes, my character is stronger than a curve raider but that curve raider's character is also stronger than an lfr raider's character.

  5. I hate timegating. 2 things: Blizz shouldn't dictate to us, the paying customers, how quickly we complete missions, rep grind, unlock flying, etc. It also means they don't have much in the way of content so timegating allows them to dole out their meager content over weeks/months and they still get our monthly sub $. It's a win for them but a lose for us.

  6. Holy shit how can it be that a f2p game like Lost Ark is 1000x times better in terms of Account bound/Progression/Rep and items shared with your Alts but a Monthly sub game cant put it any way in their game, it blows literly my mind after i played Lost Ark, how "godlike" Alt friendly it is in comparison with WoW….

  7. So basically there is most things about this patch that does not feel good. I tested on PTS and rep grind itself seems slow AF, why they reduced the amount of rep you get from WQ is beyond me, and they said that now overall rep grind is faster, but from my testing i just don't see it, it feels way slower than before. The 249 gear you can get by grinding currency in the sand area feels pointless and a really big grind, from what i saw you only get 20 of that currency per day which means that if you do it daily even for the lowest cost item it would take you almost two weeks to get that one piece so not good at all, but maybe i missed something there, i only managed to find one chest that drops the currency and mobs don't seem to drop it at all, at least that was my experience hence 20 currency is what i ended up getting per day. To me it feels like this patch is intentionally designed to be a huge time waster in order to keep players going until the next expansion, which honestly may not even happen this year most likely. Seems like, if you want gear, Zereth Mortis is not a way to get it, just better of doing M+ and/or raids which is obviously not that great for more casual players. Also Zereth Mortis doesn't feel good for alts either, at least not at the start of the patch so it seems like best way to go is just focus on your main until you unlock all of the cyphers and only then go in with alts, but even then there is still a massive rep grind you have to do on each and every alt since nothing is account bound which feels like alts are not even worth doing in this new content at all

  8. Yeah the reality is your content will get more views if it's negative unfortunate but true. I happen to like your positive things you like better but don't worry I watched both and thumbd up for both.
