  1. This works to the tune of about 6% of a level per kill with the stated 30ish second spawn time but gets old REAL fast. I know the other method he mentions and it would be a little more interesting. It is a great find and thank you for sharing.

(ok i had to fly out of the zone area and back in then it came back but now it cut my xp by 2k per kill but im still rested.

  3. Commenting my experience with this exploit (posting macros below)

    Not only is it fast, it is really easy to level up with this method (and not only for you!)

    Skipped "a hero's welcome" quest since i didn't have it, it doesn't seems to be necesary

    had a friend who was questing in draenor come to the group, to test if i'd recieve less exp, turns out we both recieve the experience from killing him, plus some more xp because of the group bonus (i'm recieveing 4440 + 518 from group bonus).

    I had both him and the the low level character use an afk macro that i saw previously on Archvaldor's video about macros (i remember searching it as archvaldor macros on youtube, go watch it, it has some really nice exploits available)

    Not only that, but if you have enough damage, you can do a whole castsequence macro to kill the Elite (including targeting) with just one button!

    added to that, @Vedarough posted a macro in the comments below to abandon the quest, i combined it with disengage/exhilaration to return to velen and heal with a single button!

    it seems like a great way to not only level you, but to level your friends while they do something else, i will be further testing this 🙂

    Oh and if the npcs dissapear for some reason, just fly away till the zone's name changes then fly back in, Velen will be at the platform where you fight the elite

    I've been using this for an hour now, literally just scrolling down the wheel mouse for the rotation, jumping back to abandon the quest, click Velen then walk a bit forward for sniper's shot to be in range

    oh and your friends don't need to do anything besides flying towards you, if you're leveling a character on another account from 10-50 instead of using the trial account for the party sync, you can fly them there and make them level too! just be aware of them passing trough 50

    Macros used (modify them to your needs)

    Abandon Quest / Cast Exhilaration, Disengage:
    /script local q = C_QuestLog.SetSelectedQuest(34019); C_QuestLog.SetAbandonQuest(q); C_QuestLog.AbandonQuest()
    /cast Disengage
    /cast Exhilaration

    One Button Rotation Marksmanship hunter (you could use less, my hunter's just weak)
    #showtooltip
    /castsequence reset=20 Sniper Shot(PvP Talent), Aimed Shot, Rapid Fire, A Murder of Crows, Aimed Shot, Steady Shot, Steady Shot, Steady Shot, Arcane Shot, Sniper Shot(PvP Talent), Aimed Shot, Arcane Shot, Kill Shot, Kill Shot
    /tar Karnoth

    AFK macro:
    /run local f=CreateFrame("Frame")f:RegisterEvent("PLAYER_CAMPING")f:SetScript("OnEvent", function() local p=StaticPopup_Visible("CAMP")_G[p.."Button1"]:Click()end)

  4. when i get new level i should complete this little quest chain again. on 50lvl i get 10200 exp with rest. on 51/52/53… lvls i get 8776 exp with rest from this mob killing. without rest you get 4388 exp (every minute)

  5. Any guides to level an alt from 1-50 or 10-50 if you made an allied race character? Also side note/question, if you already did this questline on your alt can you still do it (I'm assuming no) or does party syncing allow you to do the quest again?

  6. Wouldn't it be more efficient to push the starter to the quest you're farming and use that toon to share the quest with the main toon after you abandon it? It would prevent AFK timeout on the starter, plus you wouldn't have to walk to the NPC to start the quest again. Just stand in one spot, melt the rare, abandon quest, tab to starter and share, tab back and accept, rinse repeat.

  7. Can someone explain me one thing please:
    If I have a clean battle account with a single main character on it, then I have to go through all shadowlands quest line till the end, right? And only when I reach 60 level on my main character using shadowlands quest line – then I'll be able to use hacks (like in this video) for a fast-leveling on my alternative characters. I am correct?
