  1. Thx for doing those videos, it helps a lot. I just started playing 2 weeks ago, and I have made tons of mistakes, that thx to you I am not going to do again!
I have tryed to do some gold with the 2×4 farm, but I feel like the BoEs drop rate got nerfed. Still I got like 40k in 1:30h to 2h. Actually sitting at 60-70k, what would you recommend me to do? I have learned leatherworking. Thx in advance!

  2. You mean to tell me I can't make 10m in 4 weeks like all these other goblin YouTubers? how dare you set realistic expectations for people. It's like your AOTC on making legit content or something. Keep it up.

  4. 2:36 "This is how markets crash."
Bullshit, this is how markets are efficient. Supply – demand – if there is oversupply prices should go down, thinking an old goblin proverb can change that is very naive. Let people undercut if they will, on big realms it won't change the economy and it only makes underpopulated servers healthier. Posting without ever undercutting takes no special gold making skills, it's just a sheer unimaginative robotic task. True traders should know when to undercut and when to raise prices based on buy-side customer behaviour.

  5. How on earth is it fair for blizzard to allow the most recent posts to sell first just doesn't make sense. If someone posts yesterday and someone posts a day after how on earth can the latest post sell first? Good video young fellow keep it up.

  6. I wish Blizzard would put in an auction house quest that explicitly shows people how "last in, first out" works. It is no bother not making a sale or seeing someone post something with a 30-99% undercut for a swift sale, but the constant miniscule market decay caused by the clueless (or careless) people who stick to the old AH ways drives me nuts! No reason to cut your own throat. Bit of a whine on my part, but it's a pet peeve.

  8. "just because they wanted a fast sell". Well, that can be a pretty good cause for undercutting. Dont undervalue the value of undercutting if you got a lot of stuff to move, especially if you acquired that stuff for a cheaper price and the current price may be peaking. Oh you wanna save the market from crashing? You'll pay with your own profit in this situation, because you wont sell as much if you are pricing higher (and you most likely wont make a dent of change in said market anyway, unless you have absolutely MASSIVE amounts of stuff to post. Which some few very special people do and they intentionally crash the market to control it, but that's another story). But wouldnt you like to make profit instead? I thought that was the whole point of gold making to begin with. Tbh I could give a rats ass about "saving the market" and not having it crash, not my responsibility, Im here to make gold 😉 but if you want to be a auction house saint, well go ahead, I'll be over here raking in the gold like a virtual Scrooge.. But in any case to think you as a single player has any real effect on the economy is just naive, it wont matter. You are but a tiny drop in the ocean. Unless you are one of those aforementioned very special people who have the ability to post MASSIVE amounts of stuff.

Obviously if you dont have much to sell it'd be foolish to just sell it in no time, that's when it may be better to let it sit for a while until sold at a higher price. There are also cases where the current price is reaching a low point, the bottom of the valley so to speak, that's a situation where you may not want to undercut and maybe not sell at all and wait until prices go up again. Unless of course you are having a steady influx of these items and no where to store it or use it, so might as well sell it, even at a low price.

TLDR; dont think undercutting is necessarily bad for you. It's rarely as black and white as that…. dont mindlessly do something that you dont understand. Have a good reason for what you do, undercutting or not.
